The Method

Tasting isn't guessing. It's observing, describing, and reasoning, always in the same order.

Systematic Tasting translates a structured tasting method into a guided journey: each wine is evaluated with the same steps and descriptors, making notes comparable between participants, wines, and sessions.

For educators, it turns a tasting into data that can be read instantly. For learners, it’s structured training: they know what to observe, what they need to complete, and how their assessment compares to the group’s.

How it Works

From setup to results, in four steps.

01

The director sets up the session

Create the event, define the flights and their samples, choose the tasting sheet, and, if desired, set a time limit per sample.

02

An event code is generated

Participants join using this code and choose the name they will appear under. Access can be closed by a deadline.

03

Each participant tastes and takes notes

Sample by sample and flight by flight, with their progress always visible. They can resume where they left off.

04

Review, submission, and results

Before submitting, each participant sees which sections they are missing. The director monitors group responses in real-time.

Configurable Tasting Sheets

A sheet for every objective.

The organiser chooses the default sheet for the event, from an essential note for a quick session to a complete phased analysis, and can allow each participant to choose their own.

Taste, Origin & Style

Decide, don't just fill in.

Instead of a form, the participant compares two profiles and moves towards the one that best describes the wine. This trains structure, acidity, astringency, sweetness, intensity, and also the reasoning of origin and style in blind tasting.

For the Tasting Director

Full session control, live.

Events with code

Each tasting has its access code and, if desired, a deadline to join.

Configurable Tasting Sheets

Minimal, Diploma, Quick, or comparative: a default sheet for the entire event, or free choice.

Timed Tastings

A defined time per sample to train decision-making under pressure, as in an exam.

Real-time analytics

The group profile for each sample while the tasting is in progress: who has tasted and how responses are distributed.

Blind estimations

Participants propose variety and origin; the session gathers them to discuss upon wine revelation.

Wine library

The wines for each flight are managed from a dedicated library, reusable across events.
