Why now

Climate is changing the rules of the vineyard. AI helps anticipate.

  • 25–73%of suitable areacould be lost in major wine regions by 2050 under high-emission scenarios.
  • 2–3 weeksearlierharvest begins today in most vineyards compared to forty years ago.
  • 97%accuracyin predicting the harvest window, 60 days in advance, in trials with predictive models.

Remote sensing, IoT sensors, machine learning, and predictive analytics already allow for precision irrigation, early disease detection, and yield prediction. The question is no longer if AI will reach wine, but where to start.

Every problem, with its AI solution.

111 AIW-FIT cards connect concrete challenges (yield, fermentation, demand, wine tourism…) with validated AI use cases. They are worked on using the FIT Canvas, from pain point to intervention.

Design the solution

Data, architecture and people.

The Solution Canvas details each solution: necessary data and its biases, architecture (computer vision, IoT, predictive models, natural language), impact on the team and policies. The Service Journey places AI at each point of an experience.
